"Psychotronic Breakup Movies". Jesus Christ. Unlike that... um... article (?) this tribute is wonderful! I've yet to see any Zulawski movies but I've been intrigued by POSSESSION for about a year now and his tragic passing is a good reason to finally watch it.

This was a terrific appreciation of a director whose work I've yet to explore. Thanks for writing it, Glenn. I recall wondering, in pre-IMDB days, how to see more of Marceau, on whom I'd developed a major crush after seeing Braveheart. Now I know.
