@ John M - no worries, and I agree with the overall thrust of your comment. It's easy to assume, with someone as good as Anderson, that he's able to spontaneously create such stuff as the conclusion of Tenenbaums. But I'm sure there's plenty of trial and error, there is frustration, there are dead ends. It's a process, like the fella says - but the magic is in making it seem so inevitable, so perfect.
