Honest to God, at no point during Think Like A Man did this man think "How could hell be any worse?" or any such thing. That's kind of the surprise of the week, really. The fact that Meagan Good, seen above looking fine, and several of the other female cast members, are what one character on Mad Men or another would describe as "easy on the eyes" had a little something to do with this unusual occurrence, I admit; other reasons are provided in my review of the motion picture for MSN Movies.
The incredibly evil person inside this reviewer rather wishes he could have provided the blurb "it'll rip your face off!" for the new Disney Nature offering Chimpanzee, but alas, the thing is no African Cats, even.
And finally, Darling Companion, a bit of a bait-and-switch from Lawrence Kasdan. In the immortal word of Orson Welles, unrewarding.
LOOK AT HER!

'Darjeeling Companion' -- All 3 brothers get hitched (at the Temple of One Thousand Cows?). How many Indians will have to die before important life lessons are learned THIS time?
'Darkling Companion' (a prequel to 'Darko Companion') -- Major filmmaker demands significant, eleventh-hour changes; forced to back down; studio-imposed edit later acclaimed as masterpiece. Tagline: 'The director is always right?'

"Think Like A Man" was far less grating than I would have guessed. Most of the characters are reasonably likable, and Kevin Hart has exceptional timing in his comedic delivery. Still, there is something a bit odd and sad that advice books now have their own subgenre of film (in addition to this film, there was "He's Just Not That Into You" and the upcoming "What To Expect When You're Expecting").
The film's cuts to its architect Mr. Harvey are forced to the point of being unintentionally humorous.

Looks like the time is ripe for a remake of "Everything You Always Wanted to Know About Sex* But Were Afraid to Ask."
