Just Go With It opens Friday. For those who follow/care about such things, the surprise here is that I actually rather liked costar Jennifer Aniston in it. She has a nice what they call "chemistry" with what's-his-nut, and holds her own in the banter and comic timing department. So that's something salvageable from the movie, too much of which is the usual gacky Dugan-dreck. And I don't even really dislike Sandler that much. Anyway, Armond White was at the screening I attended; maybe he can fill me in on the humanist dimension of the picture that I'm missing. In any event, the two kids with the ostensible adults above are Griffin Gluck and Bailee Madison (I think the latter would do very well in my proposed biopic project Young Kathryn Jean Lopez) and my review of Just Go With It for MSN Movies is here.
